Which trends can be seen the field of PLM? Which are typical problems in the introduction and establishing of PLM processes and PLM systems? Is the introduction of a PLM solution process or IT project? These and many more question were discussed by the participants in the workshop “Future PLM”, users, representatives from research, contractors, as well as PLM solution providers within the ProSTEP iViP Symposium 2012. Objective was determination of requirements on future PLM solutions as well as deduction of appropriate action fields.
